i heart idaho

last week we were in Idaho visiting the sweetest friend.

we went on hikes in the greenest wilderness, swam in the cleanest cold water, and took home pretty heart-shaped pebbles. we ate at a restaurant on the lake, grilled in the backyard, and drank local beer in a pub dripping with tap handles. we took walks in the evenings as the sky turned pink and waved at the neighbors. we laid flat on the grass, looking up at the stars, as the Counting Crows played Mr. Jones 100 ft away. we snuggled and saw so many shooting stars (and i forgot to wish every time). we went to Canada and Montana too, and fell in love with the whole area.

that northwest sure is gorgeous.
