oh, hi, oh

i've been in ohio for a few days now, and i've accomplished absolutely nothing. ever since i arrived here wednesday morning, my mom and i have been positively lazy. and it's been sort of great.
i already felt like i was on vacation when i traveled from tallahassee to gainesville and then deland and then vegas. but i wasn't really relaxed in any of those places. there were no full nights of sleep or entire days spent in pajamas.
since i've been in ohio, i've had time to catch up on the sleep that i didn't know i was missing. i've gotten to wake up everyday and read for a while on the couch, uninterrupted. that detail alone is pure bliss. add a crackling fire and a cozy pendleton blanket to the scene, and i just couldn't be more content.
