the majority of my time in vegas was spent at home with my family.
my dad and i took turns making each other breakfast in the morning. we drank at least 3 cups of coffee a day. we watched movies about traveling and adventure. in the evenings, we rode around the neighborhood side by side (i was on his scooter and he was on his motorcycle).
angelique and i gossiped about her middle school life and the hotties in one direction. every other night, i took her on little adventures. one night we drove down Jones until the road ended, and then kept going until we could see the stars. another night, we walked around the neighborhood during sunset. i picked pretty flowers and gave them to abuela. little did i know, they were poisonous white oleanders, so i had to throw them away :(
i played with little kayden until i was exhausted everyday. that toddler has everlasting energy, a curiosity about everything, and a desperate need to be outside all the time. he has begun identifying objects in an adorable questioning tone: "CAR? CAR?" as if to affirm it's what he thinks it is. for tree he says "twee". for water he says "wawer". for doggy he says "daw-gee" with a hard G. or he gives up on that nonsense and calls them "KITTY".
